The Raiders need to fire Josh McDaniels. Now.

The Raiders were one of the most disappointing teams last year, and it was not the players fault. The true reason they underperformed was because of their Head Coach, Josh McDaniels. They had a very talented roster, and one of the best receiving corps(Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller). On top of that, they had Josh Jacobs, arguably the best RB last year.

Now, in the offseason, he's making moves that I just can't understand. The signed Jimmy Garropolo, which does not make sense for them. Why give him a 3 year contract, when you are likely drafting a QB with your first round pick. It just doesn't make sense, especially when your are paying him a little over 22 million a year. Then, they decide to trade Darren Waller, for only a third round pick. Sure he saved them 11 Million in cap space, but they used that to sign Jakobi Meyers to a 3 yr , 33 million dollar contract. So they essentially replaced Waller with Meyers and a third. To me, thats not worth it : especially when you have Davante and Renfrow.

With the offseason and last year's performance, I don't understand why the Raiders are keeping McDaniels. If they want to go back to being contenders, they need to start by firing McDaniels.
