Wow. The Conference Championships did not go well for me: I was 0-2. But, we are now in the Super Bowl and I will be listing my prediction for the final game in the 2022-2023 season. The game will be in two weeks so there is still a lot of time left before the game. For this article, I will be predicting the quarter by quarter score and I will be listing my Super Bowl MVP.
1st Quarter: Eagles up 10-7
The Eagles are a team that always play ahead. If they want to win, they must jump out to a quick start. I think Miles Sanders will start out hot and get an opening drive touchdown for the Eagles. Mahomes and the offense will respond with a Pacheco touchdown, but the Eagles will drive down to take the lead up to 10-7 at the end of the first. It will be a relatively higher scoring first quarter.
2nd Quarter: Game Tied 17-17
This quarter will also be high scoring, and the game will be tied going into halftime. Kelce will get a touchdown to get the Chiefs a lead, but that lead will quickly vanish with a long bomb touchdown to A.J. Brown. Butker will get a field goal to tie the game going into the half.
3rd Quarter: Eagles up 23-20
This will be the lowest scoring quarter. Both defenses will come out hot, allowing zero touchdowns this quarter. Towards the end of the third, Mahomes will be driving down, but Hassan Reddick will have a huge 4th down stop to give the Eagles the ball back. Hurts will convert this turnover into 3 and the Eagles will lead going into the 4th.
4th Quarter: Eagles win 30-27
I think Mahomes and the offense will take a lead around halfway through the 4th, but Hurts will get a late touchdown to win the game for the Eagles. Mahomes won't have enough time to lead the Chiefs into Field Goal range.
Super Bowl MVP: A.J. Brown
I think Brown will have a very good day, getting over 100 yards. He knows how to take the top off of a defense and he will do that at least twice. If he can do that, he deserves Super Bowl MVP.
