Here are my NFL power rankings after just under a quarter of the season done.
1.San Francisco 49ers
At number 1, I have the 49ers. The 49ers have looked flawless so far and if they keep it up the NFC is theirs for the taking.
2. Miami Dolphins
At number 2, I have the Dolphins. After putting up 70 points, this team is looking near unstoppable. If Tua stays healthy, they have a legit shot in the AFC.
3. Kansas City Chiefs
At number 3, I have the Chiefs. The offense looked great last week, and so did the defense. One thing I've learned over the past few years is that I should never doubt Patrick Mahomes.
4. Philadelphia Eagles
At number 4, I have the Eagles. Their offense has not been as explosive, but they are still elite and are one of the best units in the league.
5. Buffalo Bills
At 5, I have the Bills. I'll admit- I doubted them. But, they proved me wrong and shut down the Commanders. This team is still one of the best teams in the league.
6. Dallas Cowboys
At number 6, I have the Dallas Cowboys. They just lost to the Cardinals. Yes-the Cardinals. If they had just been able to handle business against Arizona they would be in my top 3.
7. Seattle Seahawks
At 7, I have the Seahawks. Some of you may think this is too high. Its not. They beat the Lions in OT, and then obliterated the Panthers. This team could end up being one of the best in the NFC.
8. Baltimore Ravens
At 8, I have the Ravens. They should be much higher. But, they lost to Minshew and the Colts in overtime. It was an eye opening loss, but I expect them to bounce back next week.
9. Detroit Lions
At 9, I have the Detroit Lions. The Lions are legit. They have had a great season, except for the loss against the Seahawks. Jared Goff looks elite and Hutchinson and the defense are a very solid unit.
10. Los Angeles Chargers
At 10, I have the Chargers. Now, I know- this may seem high for a 1-2 team. But, the offense has honestly looked very legit throughout the season. If the defense pulls it together, this team could be scary in the playoffs.
11.Cleveland Browns
At 11, I have the Browns. Despite the loss of Nick Chubb, the Browns have still looked great. This team is a sneaky pick to win the AFC North.
12. Pittsburgh Steelers
At 12, I have the Steelers. After getting demolished in Week 1, the Steelers have looked legit the past few weeks. They had a solid win against the Raiders, and they are looking like a very good football team.
13. Cincinnati Bengals
At 13, I have the Bengals. After a nice win against the Rams, they finally look like an elite team. Once Joe Burrow is 100 %, this team will fly up these rankings.
14. Green Bay Packers
At 14, I have the Packers. Love has looked great so far, and I expect this team to be elite in future years.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars
At 15, I have the Jaguars. I had high expectations of this time, and they have failed me so far. I do expect them to bounce back soon and get to the higher end of these rankings.
16. New Orleans Saints
At 16, I have the Saints. The Saints have looked decent so far, but they definitely aren't a team that is going to win the NFC. With Carr injured, this team's record might slide.
17. Atlanta Falcons
At 17, I have the Falcons. Bijan Robinson has looked great, but the rest of the offense has been pretty disappointing. They definitely have a shot at the NFC South title, but I don't see them going any farther than that.
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
At 18, I have the Bucs. I'll admit- they have looked way better than I expected. But, they've beat the Vikings and Bears. If they beat the Saints in Week 4, expect them to fly up these rankings.
19. Washington Commanders
At 19, I have the Commanders. Sam Howell has impressed me so far, but his performance against the Bills is the reason I have them at 20. If he can limit the turnovers, this team will be a lot better.
20.Indianapolis Colts
At 20, I have the Colts. Richardson has impressed me, but his injuries could be a concern. If he comes back healthy and plays well, they will be higher on this list.
21. Minnesota Vikings
At 21, I have the Vikings. Kirk Cousins has been playing exceptional, but they are still 0-3. The defense needs to get it together if they want to get some wins.
22.New England Patriots
At 22, I have the New England Patriots. It's simple- the offense is not good. The defense has looked pretty solid over the past few weeks, but Mac Jones is simply just not a good QB.
23. Los Angeles Rams
After a dominant Week 1 win, the Rams have looked horrible the past few weeks. Stafford and the offense could not put up any points against the Bengals, and they need to be more consistent if they want to be higher on the rankings.
24. New York Giants
At 24, I have the Giants. The Giants have looked flat out terrible. They barely edged out a win against the Cardinals, and have been dominated in all their other games. This is a horrible football team.
25. Houston Texans
At 25, I have the Texans. CJ Stroud has looked phenomenal, and the Texans will be a very good team next year. This team will finish higher on these rankings by the end of the year.
26. Arizona Cardinals
At 26, I have the Cardinals. Josh Dobbs looked great last week , and the Cardinals got their first win against a very tough football team. If this team keeps it up the will be higher on the rankings later in the year.
27. New York Jets
AT 27, I have the New York Jets, Their defense has been great, but their offense has been non-existent. If they want to win football games, they have to score points. Hopefully, the Jets understand that soon.
28. Las Vegas Raiders
At 28, I have the Raiders. They just have not been good. For this organization to do anything, they need to start by firing Josh McDaniels. They also need to start Aiden O'Connell this week. For a more in depth analysis, click here.
29. Tennessee Titans
At 29, I have the Titans. Derrick Henry has not been good, and everything about the Titans is bad right now. This team may finish even lower than 29.
30. Denver Broncos
At 30, I have the Broncos. There's not much to say here. Losing by 50 is inexcusable and the Broncos need to start firing some people.
31.Carolina Panthers
At 31, I have the Carolina Panthers. Again, there isn't much to say here. This team just isn't that good.
32. Chicago Bears
At 32, I have the Bears. They are by far the worst team in the NFL. Justin Fields has not looked good, and they organization needs to make some major changes.
