Week 2 Predictions for the 2023 NFL Season

Week 1 was filled with crazy game winners and multiple upsets. I went 10-5 in my predictions(I don't make Seahawks predictions), which isn't bad for Week 1. For Week 2, I have multiple upsets and many close games. Here are my predictions.

Vikings-Eagles

On TNF, I have the Eagles taking down the Vikings. The Vikings offense struggled against the Bucs defense, and I imagine they will struggle against the Eagles. Hurts and the offense will have an average game, but the Eagles will get an easy win over the Vikings.

Colts-Texans

Anthony Richardson had a solid debut, but the Colts fell just short of beating the Jags. Meanwhile, the Texans struggled against the Ravens. I have Richardson and the Colts getting their first win of the season.

Bears-Bucs

In a battle that not many would expect to be good, I have the Bucs pulling it out and going 2-0 . Baker had a great game against the Vikings, and I expect him to do the same against a weak Bears defense. I expect this game to be close, but the Bucs will win this one.

Ravens-Bengals

In an important AFC North game, I have the Ravens blowing out the Bengals. The Bengals struggled tremendously against the Browns, and the Ravens defense is very good. Even last year, the Bengals started off very slow. I expect the Bengals to lose this one and get off to an 0-2 start.

Chiefs-Jags

In my game of the week, I have the Jaguars pulling out a close win against the Chiefs. Calvin Ridley looked amazing last week, and so did Lawrence. Mahomes and the Chiefs will be much better with Kelce, but I still have the Jags pulling off the upset.

Falcons-Packers

I have the Packers destroying the Falcons in a game that will not be close. Bijan will get two touchdowns, but the Falcons defense won't be enough to stop Love and the Packers offense. Don't expect this game to be close.

Raiders-Bills

In a game that not many expect to be close, I have the Bills winning by 10. The Raiders looked solid last week, but I just don't see them beating the Bills. Allen and the Bills will have an easy time shredding the Raiders defense, especially after facing the hard Jets defense. I could see the Raiders winning, but I just don't think it will happen.

Titans-Chargers

This game isn't going to be close. The Chargers offense was excellent last week, and the Chargers defense should have an easy time against an atrocious Titans offense. Don't expect this game to be close.

49ers-Rams

In a highly anticipated NFC West battle, I have the 49ers crushing the Rams. The Rams did look good last week, but Shanahan always has McVay's number. The Rams always struggle against the 49ers, and that is what will happen in this game. It won't even be close.

Broncos-Commanders

In a close matchup between the Broncos and Commanders, I have the Commanders edging out the win. Howell looked great last week, and the Broncos did not. This game will be close, but the Commanders will edge out the win.

Giants-Cardinals

In a matchup between the Giants and the Cardinals, I have the Giants winning. The Giants played horrible last week- it could be the worst opener I've seen. The Cardinals defense played good last week, but the offense was atrocious. I could see the Cardinals winning, but I think the Giants will bounce back from last week and win.

Cowboys-Jets

Both these teams had very good wins in Week 1. But, with Aaron Rodgers out, the Jets offense will severely struggle against an elite Cowboys defense. I have the Cowboys winning by 14, even against a tough Jets defense.

Dolphins-Pats

In a heavily anticipated AFC East matchup, I have the Dolphins beating the Patriots. The Pats put up a good fight against the Eagles, but fell just short in the 4th Quarter. I think they will be able to compete with the Dolphins, but Tua and Tyreek will end up being too good.

Browns-Steelers

In a close AFC North battle, I have the Browns edging out a win against the Steelers. The Steelers had a horrible game last week, and hope to bounce back in Week 2. The Browns on the other hand had a great Week 1. They dominated the Bengals and now hope to start 2-0. I think they will edge out the win against a struggling Steelers.

Saints-Panthers

In an NFC South battle, I have the Saints beating the Panthers. Young will have a solid game against the Saints defense, but Derek Carr will have a better game. He will shred the Panthers defense and the Saints will start 2-0.
