Seattle Seahawks: The Most Surprising Team in the NFL

On March 8th, 2022, the Seattle Seahawks franchise Quarterback ,Russell Wilson, was traded. Later that day, they released star Bobby Wagner. Many experts and analysts believed it was over for the Seahawks and they were bound for one of their worst seasons ever. Pete Carroll had different plans. During the NFL Draft, the Seahawks drafted some absolute studs. Charles Cross, who was picked at #9, has been playing very well and is a solid starter at the offensive line. During round two, they selected Kenneth Walker, who has been playing absolutely crazy after Rashaad Penny’s injury. They also got another solid offensive lineman, Abraham Lucas in the 3rd round. Then, in the following two rounds, the Seahawks selected two great cornerbacks. Coby Bryant, selected earlier, has 4 forced fumbles this season. Tariq Woolen, selected right after, is looking like the front-runner for DROY and has multiple interceptions. So overall, the Seahawks absolutely nailed their draft. Despite this, analysts still thought the Seahawks wouldn’t even finish with above 5 wins. Through 8 weeks of the NFL Season, the Seahawks are on top of the NFC West at 5-3. Geno Smith is leading the league in completion percentage. The Seahawks defense has had a turn-around in the last couple of weeks and the Seahawks are looking legit.
