When thinking of the best defenders in the 2000 - 2020 era, some common names come up: Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Ed Reed, JJ Watt, Aaron Donald, Luke Kuechly, Von Miller, Bobby Wagner, Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, Patrick Willis, Darrelle Revis, and many more. When I personally asked former Seahawks RB Robert Turbin who the toughest player he's faced, he gave me a name that many of you may not expect.
The player he mentioned was former Panthers LB Thomas Davis Sr. Davis is the all time leading tackler for the Carolina Panthers-despite suffering 3 ACL Tears. On October 26, 2014, Davis and the Carolina Panthers met the Seattle Seahawks. Late in the second quarter, Russell Wilson threw a screen pass to Robert Turbin. Lets just say, it didn't work out too well for Turbin.
Thomas Davis Sr. is one of the most underrated defenders of the 2000's era, but it's clear that Robert Turbin respects him and believes he was the hardest player to face in the NFL.
this is the guy from irvington :O🤣😍😎😁
