With just one game left in the NFL season, trade rumors are heating up and players are starting to request trades. Here are three major trades that will shake up the future of the league during the offseason.
WR Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders

My first major trade of the offseason is WR Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders. This is a trade that makes sense for both teams. For the 49ers, they get rid of a big contract while also maintaining a strong WR corps in Aiyuk, Jennings, and Pearsall. Purdy will still have plenty of weapons on the offense and GM John Lynch can allocate some more money to the defensive side of the ball. For the Commanders, they finally get another WR to complement Terry McLaurin. With Daniels, McLaurin, and Deebo, the Commanders offense will continue to dominate the scoreboard throughout the season.

DE Myles Garrett to the Buffalo Bills

My second major trade of the offseason is a massive one; reigning DPOY Myles Garrett gets sent to Buffalo to compete for a Super Bowl. Recently, in a press conference, Bills HC Sean McDermott said that to compete for a Super Bowl, "You need two or three [guys] on each side of the ball to be difference makers." A lack of firepower on defense is exactly what the Bills are missing to come out at the top of the AFC. Myles Garrett would be an immediate impact player whose presence will definitely be felt on the field. For the Browns, they get a load of picks and prepare for a rebuild that they will be well-equipped for.

WR Cooper Kupp to the Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Rams Receive: 2025 Third Round Pick
My final major trade of the offseason is WR Cooper Kupp to the LA Chargers. Cooper Kupp and the Rams will be looking to respectfully part ways, meaning the Rams will not send him to a place he doesn't want to go. With Kupp nearing retirement, he will choose to stay in LA, and the Rams will send him to the Chargers in exchange for a third round pick. For the Chargers, Herbert finally gets the weapons he needs to make a playoff push. For the Rams, they free up cap space and open up opportunities for the young guys.
