The NFL Playoffs have arrived, and it is time for me to lock in my predictions. Here is how I have the 2024 NFL Playoffs going down.
WILD CARD ROUND
Winner: Cleveland Browns
In the Wild Card matchup between the Browns and Texans, I have Joe Flacco and the Browns squeaking out a tight win against the Texans. This will be a relatively high scoring game, but ultimately, the Texans defense will not be able to stop the Browns electric offense.
Winner: Buffalo Bills
I'll be honest-I think this game will be much closer than people expect. With that said, I do still think the Bills will pull this one out. The Bills have been on a hot streak, and I do not expect that stop against the Steelers.
Winner: Kansas City Chiefs
In one of the best Wild Card games of the week, I have Mahomes and the Chiefs finally finding their rhythm and getting a win over the Dolphins. Mahomes in the playoffs is a whole new player, and I just don't think the Dolphins will have an answer for him.
Winner: Tampa Bay Bucs
In one of the biggest upsets of Wild Card Weekend, I have Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers beating the Philadelphia Eagles. Hurts has beens struggling with an injury and Baker is out to prove everyone wrong. This seems like the type of game that the Buccaneers will pull off.
Winner: Los Angeles Rams
In the most interesting Wild Card game of the year, I have Matthew Stafford and the Rams pulling off an upset against the Detroit Lions. The Rams have been on fire lately, and I don't think the Lions will have an answer for Matthew Stafford. Jared Goff and the Lions offense will play well, but they won't be able to keep up with the Rams.
Winner: Dallas Cowboys
In the Wild Card game between the Cowboys and Packers, I have the Cowboys handling the Packers. Jordan Love has been playing great recently, but I just don't think they match up very well against an explosive Cowboys team. I have the Cowboys by 17.
Divisional Round
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
This game will be great. Joe Flacco returning to Baltimore for a playoff game will be cinema. If the Ravens take an early exit, it will absolutely be to the Browns. However, I think Lamar Jackson will finally show up in the playoffs and end the Browns magical season.
Winner: Buffalo Bills
In an intense Divisional Round rematch between the Chiefs and Bills, I have Allen finally beating Mahomes and advancing to the AFC Championship. The Bills have been the NFL's hottest team, and even though the Chiefs will play well, they will not have an answer for Josh Allen.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
In a divisional round matchup between the 49ers and Rams, I have the 49ers squeaking out a close one. I've said this before and I'll say this again- If anyone in the NFC is stopping the 49ers, it's the Rams. With that said, I do still think the 49ers will find a way to win this game. If Purdy limits the turnovers, they should have no problem winning this game.
Winner: Dallas Cowboys
In the last divisional round matchup, I have the Dallas Cowboys blowing out the Buccaneers at home. This game will be pretty uncompetitive, and the Cowboys should have an easy time going to the NFC Championship.
Conference Championships
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
In the AFC Championship, I have Lamar Jackson and the Ravens beating the Bills in an OT thriller. This game will be the game of the year, and it could honestly go either way. But, I think the Ravens will find creative ways to shut down Josh Allen and advance to the Super Bowl.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
In the NFC Championship, I have the 49ers beating the Dallas Cowboys to advance to the Super Bowl. Unlike most Cowboys v 49ers games, I think this game will be pretty close. This is the best Dallas has been in a while. With that said, I do think the 49ers will find a way to pull this one off and advance to the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
In the Super Bowl, I have Lamar Jackson and the Ravens pulling off a close win over the 49ers. The 49ers defense will not have an answer for Lamar, and Purdy will not be able to keep pace. Lamar Jackson will get his first ever Lombardi Trophy.
Lock it in. Who is your pick for the SB?
Baltimore Ravens
San Francisco 49ers
Dallas Cowboys
Buffalo Bills
